Mike Hannigan - Director
After working in the student hospitality and entertainment industry for 17 years, Mike decided it was time for a change. Wanting to stay within the student market, Mike made the transition to the student accommodation sector. Taking all his knowledge of the student community and marketing he strode into the housing sector with his best foot forward. After finessing his expertise within the industry, Mike took the first step to going out on his own – creating Bed. Driving the business forward every day, Mike created great working relationships with landlords and students to grow Bed into what it is today - a hugely successful student rentals company with an amazing team of staff to support the business’ development.


Jolan Tucker - Sales and Marketing
Jolan has been part of Bed from day one, he runs our viewing team and oversees all things tech! Come rain or shine he will be out and about conducting viewings around the streets of Chester. When he isn’t out doing viewings Jolan can be found in the office solving a technical issue or working on our online marketing.


Paula Evans - Operations Manager
Paula is the glue that holds the Bed team together! Paula became part of the team four months after Mike created the business and she quickly became a vital member of the Bed family. Liaising with landlords, tenants and the office team, Paula makes sure that everyone is where they need to be getting the job done.


Jacob Bilney - Property Manager
Have you seen the Official Bed Van driving round the roads of Chester? That will be Jacob! Jacob is the first port of call for tenants and landlords to discuss and arrange any maintenance that may need to take place. He works closely with landlords of our fully managed properties to ensure that all their properties are always up to the Bed standard. On busier days in the office, Jacob jumps onto the viewing team to assist Jolan. He will also tell you he makes the best cup of tea in the office, but that is up for debate!


Talia - Head of social media & Admin Support
Talia started with Bed on a placement as part of her degree in Events Management, during this time she became invaluable to the team. After completing her studies Talia came on board full time to support with any marketing campaigns, manage the social and provide admin support where needed. You’ve got Talia to thank for the all pictures of the Bed puppy blessing your social media feed!


Emma Barry - Business Finance & Admin Support
After graduating in 2019, Emma joined the Bed team in early 2020. As well as managing the accounts for the business, Emma issues out contracts to tenants and supports with any admin duties in the office. Emma is also dog mum to the official Bed Puppy, Oscar - who is always ready for a cuddle in the office.
