Hydes announces packed summer event schedule

The Hydes brewery and pub chain has announced a succession of outdoor events over the summer at its newly refurbished pubs.

The chain relaunched The Mount Inn in Boughton last month after a major refurbishment that has doubled the seating capacity outside, just in time for a summer of sport. The family-owned business has invested more than £10 million in its estate since 2022.

In terms of events, a Summer Live Garden Party will be held on Tarvin Road at the Stamford Bridge on July 27, with the large beer garden hosting live music, entertainment, and food and drink. A succession of car park events will also take place over August at the Horse & Farrier, Quarrybank, and The Plough pubs, while a summer festival will be held at The Golden Lion.

Adam Mayers, Hydes’ managing director, said that the pub chain knew how much its customers enjoyed the outdoors, so it always organises a packed schedule of outdoor summer events, adding:

“Whether it’s enjoying a refreshing pint in a sun-kissed beer garden with friends, taking in the spectacular views of the North Wales countryside, attending a mini Glastonbury-type music festival or enjoying lunch in one of our Nordic inspired tipis, there is something for everyone this summer at Hydes.”
