Refurbished pub reopens in Chester city centre

The Off the Wall pub in Chester city centre has reopened following a revamp costing a six-figure sum.

The building was originally built as a telephone exchange, but it has been home to various businesses before it became a pub in 2010. Both floors of the pub have been revamped with a vibrant décor, and the first floor is available to hire for private events, such as wedding receptions and birthdays. The refurbished pub has opened with a brand-new food and drink selection, with offerings such as burgers, pizzas, food to share and smaller plates. Cocktails are available on a two-for-one basis at all times, and guests can even enjoy a bottomless brunch.

Daniel White, the pub’s general manager, said the aim of the refurbishment was:

“…to position our pub as the place to be for students as well as being the premiere place to watch sport in Chester with a huge range of big screens, and great drinks at great prices. We’re confident in our top-class beer and tasty food range at competitive prices…”

He added that he was confident that the pub’s range of drinks was among, if not the best, in the area, as well as being affordably priced for both locals and students.

You can easily frequent venues like Off the Wall when you have off-campus student accommodation Chester near city centre. Often, the bills are included in the rent for easy budgeting, and you may not even have to pay any upfront fees.
